Pickleball at Its Finest: What Happened in Naples
The prestigious 2025 US Open Pickleball Championships, sponsored by Margaritaville, have come to a close. In sunny Naples, Florida, the world’s top pro players competed for gold. The tournament delivered thrilling matches, familiar faces on the podium, and some surprising doubles pairings.
Megan Fudge emerged as the star of the tournament, taking gold in Women’s Singles and Mixed Doubles alongside Jack Munro. Munro had even more to celebrate—he also clinched gold in Men’s Doubles with Len Yang.
In Women’s Doubles, Anna Leigh Waters and her mother Leigh Waters captured the title. In Men’s Singles, Christopher Haworth came out on top.
Silver medals went to Bobbi Oshiro (Women’s Singles), Grayson Goldin (Men’s Singles), and the duo Megan Fudge & Jillian Braverman (Women’s Doubles). Richard Livornese earned two silver medals—one with Ryler DeHeart in Men’s Doubles, and another with Riley Bohnert in Mixed Doubles.
Amanda Hendry and Ammar Wazir claimed bronze in the singles categories. Shelby Bates and Sofia Sewing placed third in Women’s Doubles. In Men’s Doubles, bronze went to Armaan Bhatia and Harsh Mehta. Sewing returned to the podium with Casey Diamond in Mixed Doubles.
Megan Fudge and Jack Munro were the standout players of the tournament. Fudge won two golds—in singles and mixed doubles—while Munro topped the podium in both men's and mixed doubles. With two titles each, they proved themselves true forces at the highest level.
