Pickleball celebrates both participation and excellence
Champions crowned at the Dutch National Championships
The new Dutch pickleball champions have been crowned. For the first time, the National Championships were organized by the KNLTB, which introduced a renewed format aimed at promoting the sport’s top level in the Netherlands. It was also the first time that national titles were contested in the 50+ category.
In total, ten categories crowned Dutch champions. The big winner of the weekend was Giancarlo Balzarelli, who completed a trilogy: he became the Dutch champion in singles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles.
