The Netherlands heads to the Pickleball World Cup
From October 27 to November 2, 2025, the Pickleball World Cup 2025 will take place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (USA). More than 60 countries and over 3,000 players will participate in this global tournament, considered the largest and most prestigious pickleball event in the world. The Netherlands will be represented by the team Pickleball Power.
World’s Best Gather in Florida
The third edition of the Pickleball World Cup will be played at the impressive The FORT Pickleball complex in Fort Lauderdale (891 SW 34th St, FL 33315).
The venue features 43 courts, including four stadium courts and one grandstand center court. The tournament format consists of a group stage (“pool play”) followed by a knockout phase, where the top teams compete for the world title. Each participant is guaranteed at least three matches during the group stage.
More than 3,000 players from over 60 countries will take part in this edition, including 68 countries in the open division, 52 in the senior division, and — for the first time — a junior division. The collaboration between the Global Pickleball Federation (GPF) and the Pickleball World Cup marks another step toward the continued professionalization of the sport.

In a separate delegation, juniors Xavier Davids and Sebastiaan Wesselink, under the guidance of Endre Davids, will also participate — an important step for youth development within the Dutch pickleball community.
