Pickleball event at the Jaarbeurs this summer

This summer, Jaarbeurs will become the ultimate destination for the world’s fastest-growing racket sport: pickleball. From June 27 to September 2, one of Koninklijke Jaarbeurs' exhibition halls will transform into a true pickleball paradise, featuring twenty professional and four virtual pickleball courts. This initiative is a collaboration between Jaarbeurs, Eagledale, Majesty Company Group, and the Pickleball Federation Europe.

Jannemarije Spruitenburg, Key Account Manager at Jaarbeurs:
"Last year, we transformed Jaarbeurs into a padel paradise, and the interest was overwhelming. We are therefore incredibly excited to now bring pickleball to Jaarbeurs. With our spacious and easily accessible hall, we offer the perfect location for this sporting event. We look forward to welcoming both experienced players and newcomers and providing them with an unforgettable experience."

What is pickleball?
Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. It is played on a court the size of a badminton court with a lowered net, special paddles, and a perforated plastic ball. The rules are easy to learn, making the sport accessible to all ages and fitness levels. In the United States and Canada, pickleball has become extremely popular, with over 40 million players in 2024.

Ron Eskens, Chief Padel Officer at Majesty Company Group:
"Pickleball is a sport that everyone can play and enjoy. We are excited to support this event and look forward to a summer full of action and fun. Sports clubs, companies, and foundations can register this summer for tournaments, training sessions, clinics, or corporate events. We are happy to organize your very first pickleball experience. I say, come and join us!"
