Pickleball Holland transfers responsibilities to KNLTB Pickleball

One key question is whether the KNLTB will fully embrace the unique aspects of pickleball – including its open community, accessibility, and social nature. However, the KNLTB has assured that they are fully aware of this and are committed to supporting the sport’s further growth. They also plan to address specific needs within the community, such as the demand for a club coach training program.

The KNLTB’s new general director, Edu Jansing, and Heleen de Jong have reassured that they understand what makes pickleball special and will do everything possible to help it grow in the right way. Additionally, Corinne will serve as the direct link between Pickleball Holland and the KNLTB, ensuring that ideas and requests reach the right people.

Pickleball Holland will continue to be active as an event organizer and is set to host the Dutch Open 2026.

With this transition, a new era begins for pickleball in the Netherlands, with both the KNLTB and Pickleball Holland committed to further developing and professionalizing the sport.
